How PetVoyageUK Operates Day-to-Day
Our daily operation is centred on Folkestone, Kent, where our vehicles are based and where the Eurotunnel terminal lies just minutes away. From this hub, our vans deploy throughout the UK to collect pets and onwards into mainland Europe. Each vehicle carries the full suite of Type 2 Transporter Authorisation paperwork, vehicle approval certificates, and driver Certificates of Competence — documentation that has been audited and approved by APHA.
Why We Built the Service This Way
The pet transport industry has historically been split between low-cost consolidated couriers (multiple animals per van, multi-day mixed-species journeys) and high-cost air-cargo agents. We saw a gap in the middle: a service operating to genuinely high welfare standards but priced for ordinary pet families, not just luxury clients.
