Although Dover-Calais is a ferry route, we strongly prefer the Eurotunnel Le Shuttle (10 minutes from Dover at Folkestone) for pet transport. Pets stay in the vehicle for the 35-minute crossing, with no kennels, no weather delays, and no risk of seasickness — far safer and less stressful for your pet.

Yes — we can collect your pet from a Dover address, your hotel, or the port area. We then drive the short distance to Folkestone Pet Reception, complete the Eurotunnel paperwork, and deliver to Calais or onward into France.
