How does pet transport from CDG to London work?

We then drive to a partner vet in northern France for the mandatory UK tapeworm treatment, on to Folkestone via Eurotunnel, and deliver door-to-door in London. Total elapsed time from your pet leaving the cargo terminal: 8-10 hours.

Many overseas airlines do not fly direct pet cargo to UK airports, so CDG is the nearest hub. UK direct pet cargo customs is slow (6-8 hours typical at Heathrow), while the Eurotunnel route has a dedicated Pet Reception that is significantly faster and calmer for the pet.

Between 24 and 120 hours before your pet enters the UK. We schedule the vet appointment in northern France on the same day as your Eurotunnel crossing - typically 3-4 hours before the train. The treatment is recorded officially in the pet passport or AHC.

Yes - if you prefer, you can accompany your pet in the vehicle from CDG to London at no extra charge. Many owners do this after a long-haul flight to ensure their pet stays calm during the next leg.

We collect from the airline cargo facilities at all CDG terminals, including Terminal 1, Terminal 2A-2G and Terminal 3. Tell us the airline and terminal when booking so we route the driver to the correct collection point.

Yes. The £690 starting price covers door-to-door delivery anywhere in Greater London and the home counties. Deliveries well outside the M25 may carry a small distance supplement, which we confirm before you book.
